The concert of a lifetime!!

I don't know where to begin!!! That was quite possibly the most exciting 2 hours ever!!! Very few things can live up to 20 years of hype and anticipation, I was a little worried I had built this up in my head so much that it would not meet my expectations! Well this concert exceeded those expectations by leaps and bounds!!!!!!
I knew it would be awesome and exciting and a really amazing show but seriously, there are no words for how awesome it was!!!
The 2 hour wait for the show to begin was not fun but it was truly worth the 20 years and 2 hours I waited to see MADONNA!

Every aspect and moment of the show was fun and exciting and you just kept wanting more and more!
She didn't really acknowledge being home until close to half way through the show but when the stage turned, that very first view of her face says it all, you could tell she was so happy to be home! I've watched other videos on you tube of the opening in other cities and she has a little smirk but nothing like the smile she has in this video from Detroit!
The song selection was a great mix of old and new. Some of the old songs were a little revamped and even more fun, Vogue, and a faster version of Borderline for example. Human Nature was great,I had forgotten how much I LOVE that song and the video Brittney Spears made for that part of the show was actually really good!

My favorite part truly had to be when she finally really acknowledge being home and how much that meant! "You can take the girl out of Detroit but you can take the Detroit out of the girl, because Detroit girls don't take no shit from nobody.....I don't come back here often so please make a big deal about it.." then when some people up front weren't clapping much she said "that is not the Detroit way, people from Michigan make an effort.." And then when she sang my song a capella, as much of a dork as this makes me, I had a tear in my eye! Watch the videos here:

All in all I was amazed and absolutely in aww of Madonna, she is a born performer! Oh there are so many more parts of the show that I could go on and on about, it will be a memory that I will have forever!
Photos complements of my good friend and fellow concert goer Bess!

I'm not a massive fan of Madonna, but I have heard that she does put on quite the show. Sounds like an amazing experience for you! :)
